Volunteers In Prosecution (VIP) Program
We are no longer accepting applications for fall volunteers. We are, however, accepting applications for winter volunteers. Please contact Amanda Allen for more information. Thank you.
The Criminal District Attorney needs part-time volunteers to assist the
criminal prosecution effort in Collin County. If you have an interest
in working at the pinnacle of Texas law enforcement in Collin County and
have the skills to perform one or more of the tasks we need help with,
the VIP program may be just the thing for you.
Of course, not just anybody can be a volunteer. The Criminal District
Attorney’s Office handles many serious matters and significant cases
that require discretion, confidentiality and professionalism. A person
accepted into the VIP program will have to be trustworthy and serious
about the job we do. Not only that, there is a fairly extensive application
process and, of course, a criminal background check. A person accepted
into the VIP program and who meets our expectations can expect to have
rewarding experiences while providing much-needed assistance to the very
important services the Criminal District Attorney’s Office provides
to the citizens of Collin County.
The VIP program is designed to work within your schedule. After all,
we are asking for your help; the least we can do is accommodate your time
and our needs in order to benefit us both.
Still interested? If so, you can find out much more about us on this
website, and you can go to a brief description
of some of the jobs we need help with. And, when you are ready, download
the application form,
fill it out and mail it to us at:
