Lesley Davis, Chief, received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a Minor in Political Science from Oklahoma State University. She received her Doctor of Jurisprudence from Southern Methodist University in 2005. While in law school, Lesley was a member of the International Law Review, served indigent clients as a student attorney and chief counsel for the SMU Federal Taxpayers’ Clinic, and interned with the Department of Justice Tax Division. Before joining this office in May 2006, Lesley practiced tax law.

Investigator Joe Pell began his law enforcement career at the Bonham Police Department in 1992. He attended the Texoma Regional Police Academy and Grayson County Junior College. He was a patrol officer for the city of Bonham and Denison. In the private sector, Mr. Pell worked as a court-appointed investigator in the United States Federal Court system. He possesses an advanced peace officer certification. Investigator Pell joined the Collin County Criminal District Attorney's Office as a criminal investigator in July 2006.

Sheryl Baxter came to the District Attorney’s Office in December 2003. She serves as receptionist/assistant in the Intake Division. Her past experience with Collin County includes working in the Warrants Division of the Sheriff’s Office and working part-time in the Collin County Temporary Pool. She is married and has three children. The family resides in Garland.
