Kelly Crowson, Chief, graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English. She received her Juris Doctorate and Masters of Business Administration degrees from Texas Tech University in 2004. During law school, she served on the Texas Tech Law Review and Board of Barristers. She practiced civil litigation defense in El Paso, Texas before coming to the District Attorney's office in 2006. Sheryl Baxter came to the District Attorney’s Office in December 2003. She serves as receptionist/assistant in the Intake Division. Her past experience with Collin County includes working in the Warrants Division of the Sheriff’s Office and working part-time in the Collin County Temporary Pool. She is married and has three children. The family resides in Garland.
