Sarah Preston , Chief of County Court at Law No. 5, joined the Collin County Criminal District Attorney's Office in January 2011. She graduated magna cum laude from the University of North Texas with a degree in Political Science in 2003. She graduated magna cum laude from Texas Tech University School of Law in May 2010. While in law school, she participated in the Board of Barristers, the Texas Tech Administrative Law Journal, and the Criminal Justice Clinic.

Stephanie Strickland began her service with the Criminal District Attorney’s Office in March 2002 as a legal secretary. Investigator Strickland completed the Collin County Law Enforcement Academy in December 2006 and is currently serving as a criminal investigator in the Misdemeanor Trial Division.
Sheryl Baxter came to the Collin County Criminal District Attorney’s Office in December 2003. She serves as legal assistant to the misdemeanor courts. Previously, she served in the Office’s Hot Check Division, the Warrants Division of the Collin County Sheriff's Office, and the Collin County Temporary Pool.
