Misdemeanor Trial Division

County Court at Law No. 1

Brandon Wonnacott, Chief of County Court At Law No. 1, received his Bachelor of Business Administration in Business Management from Texas A&M University in 2005, graduating cum laude and with honors. He earned his Juris Doctorate from Southern Methodist University’s Dedman School of Law in 2008, graduating cum laude.  While in law school, Mr. Wonnacott participated in the Prosecution Clinic and interned at the McGuire, Craddock and Strother law firm.  He was a semi-finalist at the National Trial Competition in both 2007 and 2008 and was on the championship team at the National Trial Advocacy Competition in 2007.  Mr. Wonnacott began his career with the Collin County Criminal District Attorney’s Office in January 2009.

Sarah Fox graduated from Southwestern University in 2007 with a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Political Science.  During her senior year at Southwestern, Ms. Fox interned with the Texas House of Representatives as a legislative aide to Representative Bryan Hughes.  Following college, Ms. Fox went on to earn her law degree from Southern Methodist University’s Dedman School of Law. While in law school, Ms. Fox interned with the Dallas County Criminal District Attorney’s Office in the Family Violence Division. Additionally, Ms. Fox competed in numerous mock trial competitions, and won SMU’s on-campus competition.  Ms. Fox has been with the Collin County Criminal District Attorney’s Office since January 2011.

Courtney Neel

Ryan Harvey joined the Collin County Criminal District Attorney’s Office in March 2005.  He attended Montgomery College and graduated from Angelina College in Lufkin, Texas with a degree in Criminal Justice in 1998.  Mr. Harvey also attended Northwestern Oklahoma State University in Puebla, Mexico as an exchange student.  He received his law enforcement certification from North Harris Police Academy in May 2000 and began his law enforcement career with the Collin County Sheriff's Office in December 2000.

Shannon Reynolds came to the Collin County Criminal District Attorney’s Office in April 2008. She came from the medical field, where she had ten years’ experience in clinical and secretarial duties. Ms. Reynolds is currently serving as a secretary in the Misdemeanor Trial Division.
