Felony Trial Team - 296th


Bill Dobiyanski, Chief of the 199th District Court trial team, is a 1990 graduate of the University of Tulsa School of Law. Mr. Dobiyanski joined the Collin County Criminal District Attorney's Office in 1991 and began his legal career as a misdemeanor prosecutor. Mr. Dobiyanski was promoted to chief of the Intake Section, misdemeanor court chief, and then felony prosecutor, ultimately becoming a felony court chief in 1996 and a felony trial team chief in 2003.

Randy Goodwin is a native Texan.  He graduated from Brigham Young University in 1995 and from Drake University Law School in 2004.  In addition to serving with the Collin County Criminal District Attorney’s Office as a misdemeanor prosecutor, misdemeanor chief, and felony prosecutor, Mr. Goodwin has managed his own private law practice. 

Wes Wynne, Chief Misdemeanor Prosecutor, graduated from Baylor University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Entrepreneurship in 2003. Mr. Wynne received his Juris Doctorate degree from Texas Wesleyan University School of Law in 2007. During law school, he served as co-founder and vice president of what is now the Texas Wesleyan Board of Trial Advocates, and was a member of Phi Delta Phi Honor's Fraternity. He placed as a regional finalist in the American Association for Justice Trial Advocacy Competition, and was named to the National Order of Barristers in 2007. Mr. Wynne joined the Collin County District Attorney's Office in December 2007.

Robin Laughon joined the Collin County Criminal District Attorney’s Office in October 2003.  Investigator Laughon received her Bachelor of Arts in Social Work from Southwest Texas State University in 1998.  She was employed as a Supervision Officer with the Collin County Adult Probation Department for three years, where she managed a caseload of more than one hundred clients.  Investigator Laughon received her peace officer certification from the Collin County Law Enforcement Academy in July 2003.

Misti Bilderback graduated with honors from the Executive Secretarial School in 1992, where she received her Executive Administrative Assistant Certificate/Diploma.  She joined the Collin County District Clerk’s Office in January 1997, where she worked as a clerk for the 219th District Court.  Ms. Bilderback came to the Collin County Criminal District Attorney’s Office in April 2001 as a misdemeanor secretary for County Court at Law No. 3.  A short time later, she was promoted to the Felony Trial Division, where she currently serves as a felony secretary for two felony courts.  Ms. Bilderback continues to use her extensive knowledge of the District Clerk’s system to excel in her current position.
