Felony Trial Team - 199th


Paul Anfosso, Chief of the 199th District Court trial team, received his Bachelor of Arts with honors from the University of Texas and earned a law degree from South Texas College of Law. Before practicing law, he taught high-school history for several years. Since joining the Collin County Criminal District Attorney’s Office in 1997, Mr. Anfosso has worked in both the misdemeanor and felony courts. He was assigned to the felony courts in December 1999 and presently works as a trial prosecutor in the 199th District Court.

Christopher Fredericks received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Trinity University in 2002.  He graduated cum laude from Southern Methodist University’s Dedman School of Law in 2005.  Mr. Fredericks joined the Collin County Criminal District Attorney’s Office in October 2005 and has worked in the Special Prosecution Division, the Misdemeanor Trial and Felony Trial Divisions, and the Juvenile Law Section of the Family Justice Division.  He is currently assigned to the 199th District Court trial team.

Thomas Ashworth received his Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Texas in Austin and his Juris Doctorate from Southern Methodist University’s Dedman School of Law. While in law school, he joined SMU’s Criminal Clinic, participated in several mock trial competitions, and interned at the Dallas County Criminal District Attorney’s Office.  Mr. Ashworth joined the Collin County Criminal District Attorney’s Office in November 2008.

Rodney Neal received his undergraduate degree in Political Science from Grayson College in Sherman, Texas in 1973.  Investigator Neal attended the Homer C. Garrison Law Enforcement Academy in Austin, Texas, becoming the youngest Texas State Trooper ever commissioned by the State of Texas.  He served as a State Trooper for fifteen years and achieved the rank of Senior Highway Patrol Trooper.  Investigator Neal left the Department of Public Safety to accept a position as a criminal investigator with the Collin County Criminal District Attorney’s Office in 1988 and is currently a senior felony investigator in the Felony Trial Division.

Dixie Eoff began her employment with the Collin County Criminal District Attorney’s Office in April 2007 as a secretary in the Intake Section of the Grand Jury/Intake Division and was subsequently promoted to misdemeanor secretary for County Court at Law Nos. 4 and 6. She currently serves as a felony secretary in the Felony Trial Division.
